Billy Hoffman: A Biography By: Jason Markovitz
Monday, February 8, 2010
I realized that I need to take writing more seriously. Instead of writing whenever I damn please, I am going to treat it more like a job from here on out. Eight hour days, five days a week. If you have ever had ADD and tried to sit still doing anything for 8 hours straight you'd know that's pretty impossible, so I'm thinking I might split it up into 4 hours at night and 4 more in the evening. I'll try that out this week.

Some thoughts:
-Ten films nominated for best picture absolutely sucks. With that being said,
-500 Days of Summer was robbed.
-Congrats to Woody Harrelson who has had a great 2009.
-It would be a travesty if IB doesn't win Best Original Screenplay.
-Invictus is one gigantic pile of shit. Morgan Freeman gets a pass, but Matt Damon? No.
-The chances of Precious winning Best Picture or Best Director are about as fat as Gabourey Sidibe.
I'll do a predictions post when the Oscars get a little closer, but I don't think this one is too hard to predict, with only 1-2 realistic competitors in most major categories.

In case you didn't figure it out already, I haven't been posting as much because I have been working on writing this screenplay. And I guess that's a good thing.
